The Heart Award Foundation was founded in 2008 as an innovative model to advance the lives of youth.   Our organization provides Heart Awards, which are financial grants to teenagers in the Washington, DC area, who exhibit heart (positive character) in overcoming life’s challenges.  These Heart Awards are used to improve the lives and communities of teens, to guide them towards a positive future.

Empowering teens to improve communities

Our mission is to help teens stay on a path of excellence even in the face of challenges.  We acknowledge that some of these challenges may stem from these teens’ communities and their common stereotypes of youth.  Our goal is to alter the pervasive, negative perceptions by allowing teens to set a positive example.

Hemisphere Management is an asset management and ownership company. Located in Rochester NY, the company has a portfolio consisting of hotels, restaurants and investment properties. With over 15 years in the hospitality industry, Hemisphere Management branched out in 2006 with the company’s first venture into food & beverage and residential/office buildings. With both branches highly successful, the company looks to possibly expand in the respective industries in the near future.

The company’s goal for 2008-2010 is focused on the hospitality industry and particularly hotel development in sub-urban, primary destination locations and business districts. With a very strong development pipeline slated, the years ahead look very promising.

With a core team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals, Hemisphere Management has grown into an elite player in the hospitality industry and has left a stamp for years to come.

Crimson Lab was founded in 2006 as an innovative marketing and design firm. In the process of providing premiere services to our clients, we began to recognize the existing need for new and intuitive marketing strategies, specifically focused towards this new medium. Experience taught us that while creating visually dynamic websites served to showcase our HTML-coding skills, our clients truly benefited from a comprehensive, marketing oriented approach that viewed the Internet as an increasing source of exposure and leads for their business.

While the world of online marketing may still be relatively new, the fundamentals of sound business practice remain as basic as ever. The challenge lies in adapting tried and true methods to the fluid and ever-changing world of cyberspace. We recognize the need for innovative solutions that utilize emerging resources to address core business concerns. Out of this a new Crimson Lab was born.
