Sigma Beta Rho is a lifetime commitment. We have a strong alumni force that plays an active role in the growth and development of Sigma Beta Rho. Whether they are members of a prestigious graduate school or members of the work force, alumni join undergraduates in national social and community service events.
To solidify the role of our alumni, we are currently working towards the formation of an Alumni Association. This association will serve as a catalyst for alumni involvement in a structured manner. It will sponsor events between alumni and undergraduates, thereby providing continuity to our brotherhood by strengthening bonds between older and younger brothers
Furthermore, the Alumni Association will facilitate alumni support and guidance to our undergraduate brothers. Alumni insight into the career goals and influence on the job market helps our younger brothers move more comfortably through the career ladder. The Alumni Association is also currently planning a job fair, where alumni involved in a diverse portfolio of professional careers and graduate schools will interact with undergraduates. This facilitates discussion between older and younger brothers and helps our undergraduate brothers gain a competitive edge. Included in this fair will be mock interviews as well as resume-building, application strategy, and negotiation skills workshops.
Elusive jobs require those with exceptional skills. Our brothers are available, ready to help you achieve your full professional potential. Investment banking in your future? Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Morgan Stanley are among the many major companies at which our Brothers work and thrive. If your career goals are professional in nature, be they attending law school, medical school, or other professional programs, a number of Brothers can provide the inside hand to getting where you want to be. Through our guidance, mentoring, and support network, you will have the proverbial upper hand.
